Bush babies

Meet our large range of Australian Marsupials, Birds & Reptiles

Conservation of Wildlife begins with awareness of wildlife. Kids are never too young to start learning. In Australia we have some of the most diverse & unusual wildlife on the planet. Learn about the wombat's upside down pouch. See a Sugar Glider's gliding membrane, meet Kermit the frogmouth & Jekyll the saltwater croc or talk to some cheeky parrots. There will be plenty to do when the Bush Babies come to visit!

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:

The Bush Babies display is a mixture of Native Australian marsupials, birds and Reptiles, our experienced handlers will sit your class down and explain interesting facts about the animals. Some of the animals will be sleeping in their nest boxes, so you will all be able to have a close look and some will even be able to touch. The reptiles are very hands on as are the frogs, the birds however prefer to be admired from a distance. It’s the closest you will ever get to real live Australian marsupials, reptiles and birds.

Please remember when you are planning your event we require:

1. Close access to set up area (no more than 30m distance from our vehicle)
2. Clear access from our vehicle to set up area (no obstacles, stairs, lifts, steep slopes, etc
3. For safety reasons we appreciate assistance in keeping curious onlookers at a safe distance until set-up is complete.
4. Access to water for the animals.
