Milking Demonstration

What we do:

With our interactive milking Demo we will bring ‘Brandy’ the milking cow to you and let your children see where milk, cream and butter really come from.
Children will get to see ‘Brandy’ the cow being milked, they will even get to have a turn themselves.
In groups we will show the children how to separate the cream from the milk.
The children will then get to experiment using different methods learning how to make cream into butter.
Finally, Taste Test!
The children will get to taste the butter they have produced, hopefully passing on their new found butter making skill and their understanding of where dairy food comes from to their friends and family.
What We bring:
‘Brandy’ the cow that the children can milk, & her enclosure
1x Trestle table (2.5mx 1m)- for butter making activities
